I absolutely love getting up every morning and eating Steel Cut Oats. It takes a while to cook (15 min, I cook it while I'm getting ready in the mornings), but it's delicious. I use Bob's Red Mill oats, and add 2 Tbsp. ground flax seed, 1/4 cup walnuts, and 1/4 cup frozen blueberries. Sometimes I add a little brown sugar, but I didn't today, and it still tastes great! The best thing is that Andy likes it too! So, that's our favorite breakfast, and I highly recommend for you all to try it.

Could you email it to me? Thanks. Well, I look forward to getting to know you again!! Crazy how we were so close as roommates and then things happens, life changes, marriage, kids, moves...lots of stuff...I look forward to reconnecting:) Talk to you later!
Thanks for the steel cut oats recipe Jill.

Hi Jill! Nice to see you in the blogging world! I love steel cut oatmeal, yum, yum. I feed it to Maddox all the time, too and he's a huge fan. I add applesauce to his and no sugar and he eats it like it's going out of style.
